Prayer Chain Request

Three years ago, I was heavily involved in witchcraft, the occult and the new age. I was going through a very difficult time in my where I was constantly being attacked by other people and I felt like I needed protection. Instead of going to God, I allowed myself to be lured into the teachings that are found within the world of the occult and the new age. At some point, God started to tug on my heart and I realized that I needed to leave that lifestyle. But after leaving it, I found that the bullying and conflicts that I was going through before were made ten times worsen probably because of the doors that I had opened by using witchcraft and the new age to "stop" these conflicts. I tried to turn to God but somehow I ended up falling into a very deep pattern of legalism. I had been in a Christian before I became involved in the occult but I never had a church home. I didn't have anyone to guide me in my faith and, because of this, I struggled with legalism. This struggle is one of the things that led to me straying from God because I thought that I needed to prove myself to Him in order for Him to protect, bless and love me. When things in my life began to go wrong, I got frustrated because I felt like I was "doing" everything i could for Him and yet nothing was going right. After leaving the occult, my struggles with legalism got worse. I began to find it difficult to pray normally without feeling obligated to pray for a certain length of time and in a certain way. I began fasting in an unhealthy way without understanding that I needed to allow God to lead me as I did those things. Instead of relying on Jesus, I started to rely on what I could do "make" my problems go away. I would just like to ask for prayer regarding all this. I'm sorry for the length of this prayer request. I just feel like my faith is not what it should be in terms of me understanding how to have a natural relationship with Jesus. I don't know how to serve Him naturally. I don't know how to hear Him clearly. I would just like to ask for prayer that I would be delivered or healed from this battle with legalism. It has manifested in many unhealthy ways in my life and I would like to be free from this so that I can live a normal, healthy, spirit-filled Christian life. Please pray for me.... Collapse

Please pray for my son he is struggling and lonely please pray he find contentment in the Lord and the Lord renew his mind and bring peace that passes understanding and comfort his heart at this time. Please pray that people stop scaring me intentionally, please pray that people stop asking me to do things that scare me, and please pray that everyone in my life shows me lots of love and empathy. Please pray for my wife, Linda. She is in remission from stage 4 breast cancer but still in treatment. Her platelet count needs to rise in order to receive treatment this week. Also, she is experiencing pain in different parts of her body. We praise God for your prayers. Thank you.... Collapse

My best friend Lara Hera, she has a rare blood disease ? that’s been generational her mom died at 40, 4, 5 cousins died at 30, Dr gave her 6 months 2 years ago God has Given her more time she is starting to break down a bit constantly tired and blood ? is low I’m asking the Saints to pray that God gives her time to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and to strengthen and give her more time in Jesus Christ name Thank you!...
